Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that dishes are clean, organized, and ready for service while assisting with food preparation tasks. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event setup. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces. Help with food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to organize supplies and ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours. Follow all safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals, food handling, and equipment operation. Skills Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is key. Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues. Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and ask questions when needed. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and prep tools is beneficial but not mandatory.
