The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation logistics, managing freight operations, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers and clients. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily transportation planning and scheduling to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries. Utilize phone systems and GPS technology to maintain constant communication with drivers. Input and manage data entry tasks. Monitor freight movement to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Collaborate with logistics teams to resolve any issues that may arise during transportation. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns related to transportation services. Qualifications Proven experience in transportation management or logistics is preferred. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using phone systems and GPS technology for effective communication. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of freight operations and logistics processes is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Pay scale consumate with job experience.
