About Us:

KMK Investments operates a fast-paced emergency medical dispatch center supporting ambulance services. Our mission is to provide critical support to first responders and ensure the public receives timely and effective emergency medical care. We are currently hiring Emergency Ambulance Dispatchers to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview:

As a Dispatcher , you will be the first point of contact for individuals experiencing medical emergencies. You will be responsible for gathering crucial information, dispatching ambulances, and supporting field units with timely, accurate communication. This role requires calm under pressure, attention to detail, and strong multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls Dispatch ambulance units based on location and urgency Monitor and coordinate field resources in real-time Accurately input call details into dispatch software Maintain communication with EMS crews and supervisors Provide reassurance and guidance to callers when appropriate

Requirements:

Type a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stay calm under high-stress situations Strong multitasking and critical thinking abilities Basic computer skills and experience with call center or dispatch software preferred Availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Prior EMS or call center experience is a plus but not required How to
