Job Description

Position Summary:
FDR Services Corp is seeking an experienced and strategic Distribution Manager to oversee logistics operations across the New York Metro Area. This role is responsible for leading distribution strategy, managing dispatch and driver teams, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation, operations, and DOT/CDL compliance, as well as the leadership skills to drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Execution Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans, ensuring KPI-driven performance and process improvements. Lead, plan, motivate, and train distribution personnel to maintain operational excellence. Maintain strict adherence to company standards in all internal and external interactions. Oversee dispatchers and drivers, ensuring alignment with operational programs, safety protocols, and performance goals. Financial & Decision-Making Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership, senior management, and sales teams. Deliver financial targets, providing detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Manage vendor relationships and budgeting for trucking, fuel, tolls, and distribution-related expenses. Develop, forecast, and manage budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality. Compliance, Safety & Performance Management Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, maintaining accurate driver records and safety protocols. Utilize GPS and camera systems to monitor driver behavior, coach performance, and improve DOT ratings. Oversee payroll processing and driver reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Implement safety incentive programs to promote safe vehicle operation. Conduct monthly and quarterly driver assessments to uphold performance standards. Maintain customer satisfaction ratings at or above 97.5% for logistics performance. Team & Stakeholder Engagement Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with leadership and operational teams. Collaborate across multiple internal and external departments to ensure seamless distribution and customer commitments. Engage, influence, and coordinate stakeholders with varying priorities to align on operational goals.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience in logistics/operations). Extensive DOT and CDL management experience with a strong understanding of transportation regulations. Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management. Proven expertise in distribution, logistics, and operational strategy. Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to design and uphold processes in a fluid environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data-driven decision-making tools. Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams to achieve company goals. Ability to engage, influence, and coordinate stakeholders who have different initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
