Job Description

The Distribution Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily pulled material processes while supporting accurate packaging, shipping, and quality control throughout warehouse operations. This role helps ensure operational efficiency by maintaining accountability to established procedures, supporting team development, and resolving workflow discrepancies. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to support a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm (overtime as business requires).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and company values. Manage departmental workflow, audit work for accuracy, and communicate deficiencies or personnel concerns to supervisors. Serve as a resource and problem-solver for team members by proactively addressing routine operational issues. Perform and oversee material movement, packing and unpacking activities, and verification of incoming freight against packing slips. Ensure equipment and storage areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition while protecting inventory accuracy and quality. Inspect work for quality and identify, report, or correct safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Two or more years of experience in warehousing or production. Ability to use an RF scanner. Certification to operate required warehouse equipment, including propane and electric forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, reach lifts, and side swing lifts (Drexel) required.
