Travel Physical Therapist - Darlington, South Carolina

Schedule & Shift Details:

5x8 hour shifts, 8:00am-4:30pm Requires one weekend shift per month No on-call duties Occasional holiday coverage may be needed

Qualifications:

Must have at least 1 year of experience as a physical therapist in a hospital setting Active South Carolina or multi-state compact physical therapist license is required at contract start Current BLS certification Prior inpatient or acute rehab experience strongly preferred Not open to first-time travelers Candidates must reside more than 60 miles outside the area; local candidates will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based inpatient physical therapy services, from initial assessment to discharge planning Customize treatment plans to address patients' unique rehabilitation needs and maximize outcomes Document evaluations, progress notes, and patient care accurately within Epic Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families to facilitate maintenance and improvement of function post-discharge Adhere to facility, state, and federal regulatory requirements Respond to hospital's emergency response expectations during hurricane season as needed
