The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in handling various breeds. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to ensure the health and well-being of our furry clients. Your role will involve bathing, drying, and grooming pets while ensuring their comfort and safety during the process. Responsibilities Bathe and dry dogs and other pets according to breed-specific standards Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats Trim nails and clean ears as part of the grooming process Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for pets during grooming sessions Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools Communicate with pet owners about their pets' needs and any observed issues Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns Assist with animal restraint during grooming when necessary Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety at all times Requirements Experience in dog handling, pet care, or animal care is preferred Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is advantageous Familiarity with animal restraint methods and heavy lifting capabilities required Previous experience in kennel environments or as a pet sitter is beneficial Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being If you have a love for pets and are looking to contribute to their care through grooming, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Pet Bather.
