Responsibilities Safely lead dogs on daily walks, adhering to individual needs and behavior cues Ensure proper animal handling, restraint, and control during walks to prevent injuries or escapes Monitor dogs' health and behavior throughout walks, reporting any concerns promptly Maintain clean and organized equipment, including leashes, harnesses, and waste disposal supplies Provide basic pet care such as hydration, cleaning up after pets, and offering companionship during walks Follow all safety protocols related to animal handling, veterinary procedures, and heavy lifting when necessary Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' activities, behaviors, or special needs Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred Strong animal restraint skills and familiarity with pet grooming are beneficial Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners Passion for animals and commitment to providing compassionate pet care in a lively environment Embark on a fulfilling journey where your enthusiasm for animals meets active outdoor work!
