Job Description

SHUTTLE DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary The Shuttle Driver at Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center provides safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services to guests throughout the resort property and to designated off-property locations. This position serves as a mobile ambassador for the resort, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring guest safety and comfort during all transportation activities.

$20.00/hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport guests between resort facilities, local attractions, and transportation hubs according to established schedules Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and personal belongings Maintain a regular shuttle schedule between resort venues including golf course, ski facilities, and other amenities Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions during transport Perform daily vehicle inspections including fluid levels, tire pressure, and general condition Document and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly Maintain cleanliness of shuttle vehicles both interior and exterior Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts Comply with all transportation regulations, traffic laws, and safety requirements Coordinate with front desk and concierge regarding special transportation requests Communicate with dispatch or front desk regarding schedule changes or delays Respond to radio/phone communications in a timely and professional manner Assist guests with directions and recommendations for local attractions Monitor weather and road conditions and adjust driving accordingly Complete incident reports in the event of accidents or unusual occurrences Participate in regular safety training and vehicle operation updates Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record for at least 3 years Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement may be required depending on vehicle size Previous experience in passenger transportation preferred Knowledge of local area, roads, and attractions Excellent customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to read maps and follow directions Basic mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues Ability to maintain focus during repetitive routes Strong time management and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving Capable of lifting and carrying luggage weighing up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required for luggage handling Visual acuity and depth perception for safe driving Manual dexterity to operate vehicle controls and assist with luggage Ability to enter and exit vehicle frequently throughout shift Must be able to work in various weather conditions Working Conditions Work is performed primarily within shuttle vehicles Exposure to various weather conditions during all seasons Schedule varies based on resort activities and guest needs Required to work weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts May be required to work extended hours during peak periods or special events Varying passenger volume based on occupancy and seasonal activities Benefits Health insurance (after qualifying period) 401(k) plan participation Paid time off Holiday pay Employee meal program Employee discounts at resort facilities Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace environment for all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
