Driver

Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and excellent driving skills. Prior experience in freight delivery, route driving, load & unload operations, and familiarity with different truck types such as manual transmission vehicles is highly valued. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Drive assigned routes to deliver goods promptly and accurately across designated areas. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Assist with forklift operation when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Handle special cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials with proper care and adherence to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed). Experience driving trucks with manual transmission preferred. Prior experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Proven track record in freight delivery and route driving. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road. Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Pay:

$25.10 - $30.22 per hour
