Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and company standards. Drive assigned routes with precision, managing schedules to ensure on-time deliveries across multiple locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated. Proven experience in truck driving, delivery routes, or similar roles within freight transportation. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Strong route planning skills with experience in route driving across urban or rural areas. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
