Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Safely operate a vehicle, including box trucks, for the delivery of goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Handle manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Skills Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their needs. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in moving services is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Capability to load and unload items effectively while maintaining safety standards.
