Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles. Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Drive route-specific deliveries across designated areas, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, with a focus on freight delivery. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Familiarity with different truck types such as flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck. Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using equipment like forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices for timely deliveries.
