What You'll Do:
Seek out and screen applicants to fill existing openings while maintaining current knowledge of transportation rules and regulations as well as Total Transportation hiring guidelines. Interview, gather and analyze data to determine if applicants meet Total Transportation hiring guidelines; Review MVR, DAC and criminal background of potential applicants. Extend an offer to potential applicants who meet Total Transportation qualifications. Provide driver applicants with Total Transportation job openings on a daily basis; Inform applicants about operations, benefits, pay, OTR and dedicated opportunities. Communicate with internal and external customers. Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner. May perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For:
Education Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma. Experience 0-1 years of transportation experience, training, sales or recruiting Skills/Certifications Good written and verbal communication skills.
