In this role, you will coordinate and request material deliveries from the warehouse to ensure timely, accurate supply for multiple product groups within the factory. You will work closely with production supervisors and planners to ensure materials are available in the right quantities, at the right location, and at the right time. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting Kanban systems, and enabling smooth material flow through proactive pre-staging and picking activities, contributing directly to production efficiency and overall site performance. How You'll Make an Impact Coordinate and request required materials from the warehouse, ensuring correct type, quantity, and on-time delivery to production areas. Collaborate with production supervisors and planners to anticipate material needs based on build plans, schedules, forecasts, and BOM/MRP requirements. Track inventory levels, perform parts ordering, maintain accurate material records, and report discrepancies or shortages. Monitor material flow, resolve material-related issues quickly, and support continuous improvement initiatives to prevent production delays. Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts while adhering to company policies and safety procedures. Work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics; demonstrate strong computer skills, self-motivation, and flexibility for overtime as needed. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus. Experience in material control, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments, especially with production managers and production planners. Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software is an advantage. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
