This is a part-time job with guaranteed hours of 10-15 hours per week. Set schedule is 11:00am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm. However, there will also be an opportunity for additional hours if desired at times but no pressure. Primary responsibility includes daily trips from our Seattle office to our Everett office dropping off and picking up legal documents and then returning to our Seattle office. This typically takes approximately two (2) hours. There may be a few additional stops like dropping off or picking up legal documents from one of our bicycle messengers, law firms, or businesses that could extend another hour. A company vehicle is provided, so you do not have to drive your own vehicle. Additionally, a company credit card is provided, so you do not need to pay for gasoline or other expenses out of your own pocket. Starting pay is $21.30 per hour. After 60 days, you'll be eligible for holiday pay. Immediately upon employment, you will begin to accrue paid-time-off (PTO) of 0.025 hours for every hour you work. If you work 15 hours per week, for instance, that equates to 19.5 PTO hours per year. That's equivalent to 6.5 days off per year when working 3 hours per shift. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can work independently, can take direction with a positive attitude, has a high attention to detail, and is a team player.
