Job DescriptionAHRC New York City is seeking Full-Time (35 hours per week) Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Bronx Day Program.
In addition, Bonuses listed below are available depending on driving status and program needs.$2,000 annually upon completion and passing of AHRC Defensive Driving class$2,000 annually upon completion of AMAP training.
Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm.

QualificationsPersonal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Drivers License for more than one year in good standing preferredAbility to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver, and the ability to keep up to date pertaining to such knowledge, and interpret same.
Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
