Responsibilities Safely operate dump transfer trucks, including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of materials Drive route-specific deliveries, maintaining accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times Manage different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized freight containers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local driving regulations for commercial vehicles Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating dump transfer trucks and related equipment Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers, freight delivery, or route driving roles Skilled in manual transmission operation and familiar with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks Experience with load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual techniques for freight handling Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and cargo securement Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively Join us as a Dump Transfer Truck Driver and become a key player in delivering essential materials safely and efficiently.
