Dump Truck Driver (Quad Axle - Class B)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced quad-axle dump truck driver to run our truck full time Monday-Thursday (x4 10's). Possibly x5 8's depending on work orders. The truck is a wel-maintained Volvo VHD with an 8LL. Manual driving experience is required. Responsibilities Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections Transport materials to various sites. Record accurate trip/dump logs. Self-load materials occasionally Experience Proven experience as a truck driver with a focus on commercial driving, preferably operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission operation and driving various truck types including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers. Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures in diverse environments such as construction sites or industrial facilities. Knowledge of route driving best practices along with safety standards for freight transportation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type; certifications in forklift operation are a plus. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
