Dump Truck Driver/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various construction sites. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient loading and unloading of materials. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules. Assist in the operation of loaders, graders, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment as needed. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols on the construction site. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including dump trucks, loaders, graders Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on equipment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members on-site. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices within a construction environment. Ability to work flexible hours as needed based on project requirements.
