In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food service experiences in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant service is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food handling, sanitation, and customer service. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Manage food safety protocols including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean environment Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service Support team members during busy periods by performing multiple roles including food prep, cashiering, and cleaning Skills Experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant operations, or café environments preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing transactions efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales Previous experience in cashiering or retail math is advantageous but not required Join our team to gain valuable experience in the food industry while providing excellent service to our customers.
