Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership, supervision, and daily operations of an early childhood education site. This position ensures compliance with California Title 22 and Title 5 regulations, maintains high-quality program standards, and provides leadership to a large multidisciplinary staff. The Site Supervisor serves as the primary operational and instructional leader at the site and acts as a liaison between staff, families, and administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of site operations Ensure full compliance with California Title 22, Title 5, Community Care Licensing, and CDE requirements Supervise, coach, evaluate, and support a large teaching and support staff Maintain appropriate staffing schedules, ratios, attendance, and coverage Support implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and program standards Conduct staff meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations Partner with families to support child development and address concerns Maintain accurate and timely licensing, staff, and child records Collaborate with administrative leadership on enrollment, compliance, audits, and program improvement Respond to licensing visits, audits, and corrective action plans Promote a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold or be eligible for a Site Supervisor Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Associate's Degree (AA) or higher Minimum of 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor in a licensed early childhood education program Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of California Title 22 and Title 5 regulations Proven experience leading and supervising a large staff Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field Bilingual preferred Experience in state- or federally-funded programs (CSPP, CCTR, Head Start) Experience working with diverse families and communities
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong leadership and staff development skills Excellent written and verbal communication High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and compliance requirements

$30.21 - $41.78 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
