In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that promotes growth in literacy, social-emotional development, and physical activity. Your dedication will help shape the foundational years of children's lives, supporting their curiosity and confidence from toddlerhood through preschool age. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, and age-appropriate activities aligned with childhood development standards. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques, ensuring all children feel secure and motivated to explore. Provide individualized support for children with special education needs, adapting lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels. Engage children in educational activities that promote math skills, physical education, and social skills while encouraging creativity and curiosity. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments related to standardized testing and formative evaluations. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support child welfare and ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth. Manage classroom logistics efficiently, including lesson planning, scheduling activities, and maintaining a clean, organized learning environment. Experience Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Strong background in childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool education methodologies like Montessori approaches. Experience designing curriculum development tailored to early learners across various domains such as literacy, math, and physical education. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support children with diverse needs. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Prior experience in private school environments or daycare settings is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and promote a nurturing learning atmosphere.
