Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging with an opportunity focused on echocardiography expertise. This role centers on providing exceptional patient care through the performance of high-quality echocardiograms in a dynamic clinical setting. Leverage your technical skills and knowledge to support diagnostic efforts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Current credentialing as an Echo Technologist (RDCS or RCS preferred) Demonstrated experience conducting 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow echocardiograms Proficiency with imaging equipment and electronic medical records Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common pathologies Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA regulations BLS certification (required prior to start)
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and record comprehensive adult echocardiograms as ordered by physicians Provide preliminary impressions for doctor review Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation in EMR Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance Prepare examination rooms and assist patients throughout the imaging process Collaborate with physicians and other technologists to optimize care and workflow Observe all safety procedures in handling equipment and patient interaction
