8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echocardiographer to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images, assisting cardiologists with advanced procedures, and ensuring exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform echocardiographic studies including: 2D, M-Mode, Color Flow, and Doppler imaging Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as strain imaging and 3D echocardiography Obtain and document accurate patient history and clinical data Assist cardiologists during stress echo and TEE procedures Recognize and promptly communicate critical or abnormal findings Acquire, review, and store digital imaging for physician interpretation Operate portable ultrasound equipment for bedside procedures Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, billing, and logs Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Provide compassionate patient care, adapting to diverse patient needs Support onboarding and training of new staff as needed Comply with all regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiography techniques Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile procedures Completion of at least 15 hours of echocardiography-related continuing education every 3 years Ability to maintain required competencies and certifications Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of clinical echocardiography experience Experience in cardiac catheterization lab or invasive cardiology settings (2+ years preferred) Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Cardiac Sonography program Certifications & Licensure RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RDMS required BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - required within 30 days of hire For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
