Description:
Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking qualified applicants for a Education Office Personnel (EOP) / Building Health Care Aide. This position provides clerical and student health support within the high school office. Primary responsibilities include health office support, records management, communication, and daily office operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, families, staff, and health professionals in a fast-paced school environment. This position will start on July 20, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for student health needs and assist with health office operations. Assist students with health needs including, but not limited to, diabetic care, medication administration, illness, injury, catheterization, feeding tubes, and other health-related needs. Maintain student health records, immunization documentation, and confidential medical information. Work collaboratively with the District Nurse to implement medical protocols and procedures. Complete student health data entry and maintain accurate health documentation. Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to student, parent, and staff inquiries. Maintain accurate student records, files, and confidential documentation. Assist with student check-in/check-out procedures and office traffic management. Assist with attendance responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related healthcare or office experience preferred. A healthcare background is preferred, with medical and/or diabetic training or experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in a school office, healthcare setting, medical office, or attendance office preferred. Knowledge of student attendance procedures, medical confidentiality, and recordkeeping practices preferred. Knowledge of Skyward student database preferred. Ability and willingness to assist students with a variety of medical and personal care needs. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and general office technology. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Salary:
Starting salary is $20.83 per hour. A summary of our 2026 Employee Benefits is attached.
NOTE:
Our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year
