Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Education Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on learners of all ages. In this role, you will develop and implement innovative educational programs, tailor instructional strategies to diverse student needs, and foster an engaging learning environment. Your expertise will support students with various learning styles and abilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence educational outcomes through creative curriculum design, personalized instruction, and collaborative teamwork. Duties Design and develop comprehensive curricula aligned with educational standards and individual student goals Implement evidence-based teaching methods across multiple disciplines, including literacy, math, early childhood education, and special education Adapt instructional materials to meet the needs of students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments Collaborate with teachers, therapists, parents, and caregivers to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to evaluate student learning and inform instruction Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate learning technology, multimedia resources, and hands-on activities Provide mentorship and training for educators and caregivers on classroom management, behavioral therapy techniques, and instructional best practices Skills Strong knowledge of speech therapy, behavioral health, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral management strategies Expertise in curriculum development tailored for diverse learners including children with autism or developmental disabilities Experience in deaf education, visually impaired education, early intervention programs, and preschool or toddler care settings Proficiency in utilizing learning technology tools for instructional design and student engagement Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to create inclusive classroom environments through effective classroom management techniques Familiarity with IEP processes, standardized testing procedures, tutoring strategies, and literacy education methods Background in recreational therapy, music therapy or physical education as part of holistic student development Proven experience in mentoring educators or providing instructional coaching in private school or early childhood settings Knowledge of library services related to educational programming and child welfare practices Join us as an Education Specialist to inspire learners through innovative teaching approaches while supporting their unique developmental journeys.
