GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Adult Ed Test Administrator is responsible for administering the policies and procedures of the GED or TABE testing within the Adult Ed program. This includes the proper administration, supervision, and integrity of the testing program. The Test Administrator must have or obtain within two months of employment the Pearson VUE Certified Test Administrator Certificate. The Test Administrator reports to the Adult Education Director at ASU-Beebe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the GED Ready & Official exams at the ASUB Searcy campus, including scheduling appointments, test administration, and proctoring all exams.
- Be knowledgeable of all current GED testing policies and follow these policies with all students who qualify to take the GED Ready or Official Tests. Keep all files safe and secure in the GED office. Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Maintain the GED computer lab to specifications and keep the room quiet and free of distractions.
- Go over exam results with students and print study guides when needed before further testing.
- Inform Adult Education graduates about commencement ceremony and work with the college in preparing them for graduation.
- Keep records for Adult Ed inventory up to date.
- Other duties for the adult ed program as assigned.
Occasionally work 1-2 evenings per week for testing as needed. Required Qualifications Must have high school diploma or GED. Must have a PearsonVue Certified Test Administrator certificate upon employment or obtain the certification within two (2) months of employment Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree Preferred Minimum Salary or Salary Range $28,000
