ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties & responsibilities may be assigned.) Develop ESL program implementing 2023 AZ State Standards, including recruiting and curriculum design Plan and teach lessons to help students gain the knowledge and skills needed to earn their high school equivalency credential or achieve higher English proficiency to support students' higher education credentials Adapt teaching methods and instructional strategies based on proficiency levels and needs of students Emphasize skills that will help students find jobs, such as learning English words and common phrases used in the workplace Monitor student progress via proctored digital testing Participate in weekly meetings with immediate supervisor Attend monthly Prof Learning Zoom meetings with Adult Ed staff Work with ADE and Gila County ABE staff to develop HSE+ relationships with the local community college Consult with college career services staff regarding curriculum and training needs Present career and educational pathway information to qualifying students Implement IET lesson plans according to provided workforce curriculum Support partnerships with employers for job placement opportunities Assist in the identification of resources for recruitment and retention of participants via networking partnerships with Arizona@Work Track and maintain all required documentation (attendance, testing results, outcomes, releases and achievements, etc.) in student files To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
