In this role, you will deliver engaging TOEIC preparation classes tailored for adult learners, focusing on improving their English proficiency for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire students to achieve their language goals, while utilizing innovative learning technology and instructional strategies. Duties Deliver comprehensive TOEIC preparation courses mixed with Business English and Conversation elements during evening hours (Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 10:45pm), ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and aligned with curriculum standards. Develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to diverse adult learners' needs, incorporating best practices in adult education and literacy education. Coach students on pronunciation, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension Provide constructive feedback and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to design instructional materials, assessments, and curriculum enhancements that promote continuous improvement. Manage classroom dynamics efficiently, ensuring all students remain motivated and engaged while maintaining a respectful learning atmosphere. Experience Proven classroom experience teaching adult learners in language or test preparation settings, preferably with TOEIC and/or Business Engish experience Background in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning tailored for adult education. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor students, providing personalized guidance to support their language development goals. Minimum of a bachelor's degree and three years of experience teaching ESL and/or test preparation, or the equivalent in education, or a combination of the two. TESOL certificates are preferred. Bilingual abilities or experience teaching bilingual students can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Excellent communication skills coupled with classroom management expertise to foster an inclusive and productive learning environment.
