Job Description
The CTE Department is seeking for a part-time Auto Pathway Instructor William S. Hart Union High School District

$50.00 per hour (maximum 6 hours per week after school hours between 4:00-9:00)LOCATION
TBDTHE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Director of CTE and Adult Education, provide entry-level instruction for students entering the field of Auto Mechanics for the Extended Day Program (after school hours only).DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide instruction for high school students in Auto Mechanics.
- Train students on the skills required for entry into the Auto Mechanics field
- Participate in advisory board meetings to ensure the curriculum meets industry standards
- Develop online and classroom lesson plans
- Maintain student records, grades, and attendance
- Participate in Professional Development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of work experience in Auto Mechanics or 1 year of work experience in the field and a valid teaching credential
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential https://lacoepd.instructure.com/courses/1077/pages/career-technical-education-applications
- Teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with classroom technology preferred (CANVAS, Google Classroom, Infinite Campus)
