Adult Education Instructor - Part-time - SIC Carmi Campus Description Southeastern Illinois College is seeking a part-time Adult Education Instructor for our Carmi Campus. This position will provide instruction to adult learners in basic academic skills and career exploration to prepare students for successful completion of the GED examination. Responsibilities include managing a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning for students from diverse backgrounds, monitoring student attendance and participation, and encouraging student motivation and persistence. This position will be approximately 12 hours per week, Monday- Wednesday, 2:30-6:30 pm at our Carmi Extension Center in Carmi, IL. Qualifications A bachelor's degree is required. Teaching certification or experience is preferred. Must have computer applications and word processing skills. Must have excellent verbal, math, and reasoning skills.
