POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT ADJUNCT ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

DESCRIPTION

IECC is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Adult Education classes during the 2026-27 academic year. The instructor will be responsible for utilizing approved ABE/ASE Content Standards, developing lesson plans, and providing instruction for High School Equivalency credentialing, College, and Career Readiness, and/or English as a Second Language. Daytime and evening positions are currently available in Robinson, IL.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in education or related field required. Successful college teaching experience including ABE, ASE/HSE, Vocational or ESL; training or coursework in reading and math; computer-assisted, multi-media instruction, and innovative teaching techniques preferred.

HOURS:

Estimated less than 30 hours per week.

WAGES:

$25.00 per hour.
