ult Education Teacher - Southeast Indiana River Valley Resources Adult EducationPart-Time | Starting at $22.00/hour | Potential for Full-Time River Valley Resources Adult Education is seeking a motivated and flexible Adult Education Teacher to serve students throughout Southeast Indiana, primarily in Dearborn, Switzerland, and Jefferson Counties , with the possibility of serving additional nearby locations as needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping adults reach their educational and career goals and is willing to grow with our program. Responsibilities Provide Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency (HiSET) instruction. Provide individualized instruction based on student needs and goals. Teach at various community and partner locations throughout the service area. Complete required training to become qualified to teach NCCER Core Construction. Provide NCCER Core Construction and workforce-readiness instruction. Maintain student attendance, progress, and required program documentation. Assist with student recruitment and community outreach as needed. Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Teaching, tutoring, workforce development, or experience working with adult learners is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to work in a variety of locations such as: libraries, community centers, and correctional facilities Comfortable using technology and online learning platforms. Must be willing to travel throughout Dearborn, Switzerland, Jefferson, and surrounding counties. Must be willing to complete training and teach NCCER Core Construction. Previous construction experience is a plus but not required. Flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping adult learners succeed.
