Helps students to learn English or gain a high school diploma or equivalent certificate. Assesses students' educational levels, skills and goals, and differentiates instruction as needed for adults at different levels in one class. May focus on basic skills as needed for a particular occupation, or assist students with developing study skills or job search skills, or help students connect with social services.

North Branch Community Education is looking for an Adult Assistant to work in our School Age Care Program. This position is part-time, approximately 29 hours per week. This position is 9-10 months, with opportunity to work during the summer. Work schedule could vary. The program is open 5:45 am to 6:00 pm. This program has children ages 3 through 6th Grade.
Job Summary:
Support supervisors by providing a safe, caring environment for children participating in our school age care program
Qualifications Required :
High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR, First Aid and CPI certificates preferred; Experience working with children
Qualifications Desired:
Ability to provide a variety of activities to children; Enthusiasm for working with young children
Salary:
$16.70 to $22.04 per hour depending on qualifications and experience S tart
