An Adult Basic Education or Literacy Instructor works with adults, including young adults who are out of school, to improve literacy and strengthen basic skills in reading, writing and math. Helps students to learn English or gain a high school diploma or equivalent certificate. Assesses students' educational levels, skills and goals, and differentiates instruction as needed for adults at different levels in one class. May focus on basic skills as needed for a particular occupation, or assist students with developing study skills or job search skills, or help students connect with social services.

A Resident Services Mentor is someone who's energetic, positive and fun, a position that plans and implements youth development, recreation, adult supportive services programming, brings in guest speakers to provide educational/health-wellness and information sessions with the community, someone who is a positive impact in the lives of community members. We're looking for someone who understands servant leadership; it's ATAP's foundation and structure! This is a super fun position, yes there's administration and planning BUT we have an awesome system to ensure you're trained and equipped to serve! Oh did we mention we have a payroll system that provides a feature for our teams to get paid DAILY? This is a temporary position, starts out at $13.00 per hour with a total of 8 hours per week assigned to work between two locations: Westgreen Apartments and Kimberly Ridge Apartments. There is
ROOM FOR GROWTH
within our organization for the right person! Although limited hours, we see the position STILL able to make a huge impact in the lives of those int he community. The position is great for someone who has flexibility in their schedule, looking to make a difference in lives without a full time commitment. We look forward to reviewing your resumes! From $13.00 per hour Application Question(s): What are you passionate about? As a part of our adult supportive services, we conduct monthly wellness visits to check in on the wellbeing of our residents. This includes knocking on doors and providing residents with resources (we do not go inside of apartments). Are you comfortable with this part of the mentorship role? Mentorship is a cornerstone at ATAP; it drives everything we do. Do you believe you have a mentors heart and if so, what does that mean to you?
