You'll be responsible for testing product against specification, catching defects before they leave the facility, and driving the investigation when something is out of spec. This is a hands-on role that splits time between the lab bench and the production floor — expect to be on your feet and moving for a good portion of the shift. The lab itself is climate-controlled. This is a temp-to-hire position with a defined path forward: QC Technician → QC Lead → QC Supervisor → QA Manager. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, not just fill a seat. Responsibilities Perform routine quality checks and product testing throughout the production run Verify product meets specification and document results accurately Identify defects and non-conforming product; escalate and hold product as required Investigate root cause when defects are found — diagnose the source, identify the corrective action, and follow through to resolution Follow and enforce food safety standards and GMPs across the lab and production areas Move between the lab and the production floor to pull samples and verify line conditions Maintain clean, organized lab work areas and equipment What we offer Structured Scheduling - Commit to full-time shifts with reliable hours and consistent schedules. 1-3 years of experience in a lab environment, specifically QC within industrial food or beverage manufacturing Working knowledge of food safety standards Demonstrated understanding of product control — what to do when a defect is found, and how to diagnose, identify, and correct it Strong problem-solving abilityOr:
