Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education or Reading
Public school teaching experience (minimum 5 years)
Teaching experience preferred
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Essential Job Functions:
Participate in Letterland and Language for Learning Intervention training
Teach evidence-based reading and writing strategies to staff and students
Model evidence-based reading and writing strategies for staff members
Observe and provide feedback to teachers and assistants regarding intervention strategies
Work with EC Program Coach to identify appropriate intervention times and groups
Progress monitor students in intervention groups
Provide progress monitoring data to Neil Waters on a monthly basis
Collaborate with EC Program Coach to identify appropriate evidence-based interventions for students
Lead intervention groups as appropriate
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor
