Job Description

Company Overview OneBridge Support Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and training for individuals with disabilities. Our focus is on empowering young adults and adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities through tailored programs that promote independence, community engagement, and skill development. The Lead Adult Disability Instructor is responsible for overseeing and enhancing our educational program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are responsible for leading a team of instructors, providing training, developing curriculum, working with participants, and ensuring a high-quality, supportive learning environment.
Hours:
7 am-3 pm
Responsibilities:
Instruct, supervise, coach, and assist individuals in the development of social skills, digital literacy, and soft skills in accordance with the ISP or IEP, and assigned curriculum. Provide guidance, training, and support to the instructional team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
Curriculum Development and Oversight:
Lead the development and continuous improvement of our online and offline curriculum. Ensure alignment of instruction with individual support plans (ISPs) and individual education plans (IEPs). Monitor and enhance instructional methods to ensure effectiveness in teaching digital literacy, soft skills, and social skills.
Communication and Collaboration:
Liaise with families, transition coordinators, and service support administrators when needed. Communicate with management and external stakeholders when needed.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to relevant policies, regulations, and quality standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and productive learning environment.
Strategic Planning:
Participate in strategic planning for program enhancement. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the program.
Crisis Management and Problem-Solving:
Participate in ISP meetings and other meetings focused on resolving challenges and meeting participants' needs. Performing Additional Duties as
Assigned:
Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Program Manager which may extend beyond standard instructional duties. Required Experience/Education Proven experience in instructional roles, preferably within disability education. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with digital tools and web-based educational platforms. Ability to develop and implement effective curriculum and teaching strategies. Experience in handling administrative and reporting tasks. Commitment to inclusivity and creating a supportive learning environment. Ability to manage crises and solve complex problems effectively. This role requires a compassionate, dynamic, and proactive individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
