An Adult Basic Education or Literacy Instructor works with adults, including young adults who are out of school, to improve literacy and strengthen basic skills in reading, writing and math. Helps students to learn English or gain a high school diploma or equivalent certificate. Assesses students' educational levels, skills and goals, and differentiates instruction as needed for adults at different levels in one class. May focus on basic skills as needed for a particular occupation, or assist students with developing study skills or job search skills, or help students connect with social services.

Active Older Adult Coordinator Position Type:
Part-time Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience) Do you love connecting with people and organizing meaningful events? We're searching for an enthusiastic Active Older Adult Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of our senior members. What you'll do: Plan and coordinate engaging events and fitness classes for older adults. Build relationships with members and community organizations to increase participation. Manage budgets, membership plans, and SilverSneaker program participation. Play an active role in recruiting and retaining members. What we're looking for:
Minimum Age:
18
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience :
Marketing and senior membership experience preferred.
Skills :
Strong communication, organization, and people skills.
Certifications :
CPR/First Aid (within 30 days of hire) and Membership Software training (within 30 days).
