  • :•TX Citywide Professional Services is seeking an experienced Adult ESL Instructor to provide practical, engaging English language instruction to parents participating in a school-affiliated parent engagement program.

The course is designed to strengthen English communication skills for workplace readiness, daily communication, and engagement in their children's educational environment.

Only 2 Class Days Per Week (each class meeting includes an additional two paid hours for preparation time. These hours are simply added to the class date and do not require the instructor to arrive early or stay late. So for each Monday and Friday class, the instructor is paid for their instructional time plus 2 additional preparation hours per class date.)

Class Day 1: Monday, 11:00 AM -1:00 PM

Class Day 2: Friday, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Minimum Requirements

  • Certified Teaching Experience
  • Clear English pronunciation without a heavy accent Preferred Qualifications
  • TESOL TEFL, or ESL certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 6 months Of experience teaching ESL to adult learners
  • Experience in community-based or parent engagement programs preferred
  • Strong facilitation skills and cultural competence
  • Ability to work with adult learners of varying English proficiency levels What You'll Teach
