English Teacher for Adult Education (bilingual position)

Job Summary Position requires to be bilingual (English -Spanish) We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate must be bilingual proficient in English and Spanish also will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and fosters a love for the English language. This role involves teaching various aspects of English, including literature, writing, and language skills, while integrating modern learning technologies to enhance the educational experience. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Utilize learning technology and resources to support diverse learning styles. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. Provide guidance on library services and research techniques to enhance students' academic skills. Facilitate adult language education programs for non-native speakers or adult learners. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and best teaching practices. Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusivity. Experience Experience working with students of various age groups, particularly in adult education settings. Familiarity with curriculum development processes and educational standards. Strong background in library services and research methodologies to assist students effectively. Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the classroom for enhanced learning experiences.
