Compensation:
Based upon Office Associate I Pay Scale, Contingent Upon Experience The Adult Education Data Technician will manage, input, and verify student and program performance data for state reporting systems using the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) National Reporting System and LACES data frameworks. Specific duties focus on data entry, system tracking, and quality assurance.
Core Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management:
Input student enrollment, attendance, and demographic details into management information systems (such as LACES).
State Reporting:
Compile and format data to meet federal and state accountability guidelines, including the National Reporting System (NRS) for adult education.
Quality Control:
Audit records regularly to find errors, check data integrity, and fix discrepancies in local databases.
Report Generation:
Run routine and custom data queries to assist administrators with program evaluation and grant compliance.
Office Management:
Demonstration of effective customer service and communication skills in all occurrences. Any additional duties as deemed necessary. Qualifications & Skills
Education:
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in database management, spreadsheet software (Excel), and automated reporting systems.
Communication:
Ability to train and support non-technical educational staff on data entry procedures. Attention to
