An Agricultural Science Professor leads courses in the agricultural sciences. Includes teachers of agronomy, dairy sciences, fisheries management, horticultural sciences, poultry sciences, range management, and agricultural soil conservation. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.
Center is home to over 26 Career Technical Education programs available to high school students in Lenawee County. Program instructors come with years of experience in their specific industry and are able to share their passions with students. TECH Center programs offer industry-recognized credentials, college credits, and technical skills needed to find success after high school. This program is designed for students to develop skills and explore opportunities within the fields of natural resources and environmental science. The class will perform environmental surveys and experiment with solutions to agricultural and environmental problems. Students will learn identification of plants and wildlife, high-tech hands-on monitoring skills, expertise in habitat management, and how to sustainably use products and energy.
