Job Description
The Oroville School District is seeking an innovative, student-centered educator to serve as our Secondary Science/Agricultural Science Teacher. This position provides a unique opportunity to integrate rigorous science instruction with Career and Technical Education through hands-on agricultural experiences and career-connected learning. The successful candidate will teach a combination of junior high and high school science and agricultural science courses while helping students explore careers in agriculture, natural resources, environmental science, biotechnology, and related fields. The teacher will play a key leadership role in advancing the district's Farm-to-Table initiative and FFA chapter while creating authentic learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to the local community. This position supports the district's Strategic Plan through interdisciplinary instruction, project-based learning, career pathways and strong community partnerships.
