Computer Science, BS Software Engineering through Extended Learning The Department of Computer Science at California State University San Marcos (Temecula Campus) seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach CS 331: Computer Architecture at CSUSM's Temecula Campus. Course Description A study of the functional organization and sequential operation of digital computers. The major components of a computer will be discussed. Introduction to machine instruction architecture and design. The study of the internal operations during program execution. Several computer architectures will be studied. Minimum qualifications: A master's degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service. Preferred qualifications: A doctorate or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields Experience teaching similar courses in 4-year universities Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
