Job Description

We are looking for an Imaging/Coding Associate (Scanning Clerk) to support document handling and digital records processing in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with scanning technology, and committed to maintaining accurate electronic files. The person in this role will help transform physical records into organized digital assets while following established quality and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prepare paper files for imaging by sorting, arranging, and confirming materials are ready for processing.
  • Scan physical records into electronic format using sheet-fed and thermal imaging equipment while maintaining efficient workflow standards.
  • Review scanned images for accuracy, readability, and completeness to protect data quality and record integrity.
  • Enter indexing information and apply document coding so files can be retrieved and managed correctly in electronic systems.
  • Create and distribute CD-based data copies when requested as part of records storage or transfer activities.
  • Support electronic archiving efforts by ensuring documents are processed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use imaging tools and related software to manage document conversion tasks and maintain consistent output quality.
