Job Description
Duties Description Under the supervision of an Office Assistant 3, SG-14, or a Human Resources Specialist 1, SG-18, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for: Organizing documents and correspondence in alphabetical order and filing printed materials. Managing troop detail records for retired personnel and preparing records for transfer to the New York State Archives. Assist in managing the division's electronic records system (Laserfiche), which involves preparing records for scanning, organizing documents, and verifying their completeness. Conduct quality control reviews of scanned documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and accurate indexing. Performing related clerical tasks as needed to maintain the integrity and accessibility of personnel records. May occasionally be required to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisory staff Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum qualifications must be met by the closing date of the posting.
