Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Washington Central Unified Union School District seeks a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered long term substitute to fill the role of Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist. Applicants must be able to fulfill the duties of both a librarian and a technology integrationist. Additionally, the qualified applicant will demonstrate past success in creating a supportive and challenging environment for a wide range of learners through differentiated instruction, effective classroom management practices, creative problem solving, and partnerships with colleagues and families. The Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist is responsible for providing access to media and technology for students and staff that can support and encourage the learning process. Knowledge of PreK-6 content area standards and active collaboration with students and staff is essential to successful and authentic integration of technology and information literacy skills. The Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist is also responsible for maintaining and developing a rich collection of materials and tools for the entire learning community.
