The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for the position of Records Management Specialist with the
U.S. EPA
Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE) Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division.
General Summary:
Under the direction of the ECAD team and Regional Records Team to maintain knowledge of program protocols, regional protocols, records management, and electronics records software (Versatile).
Program Requirements:
Must meet all 3 requirements: 55 years of age and older (in accordance with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act) a US citizen be eligible to work in the
US Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in administrative duties or file clerk
Duties/Responsibilities:
Works with staff to complete ongoing records management tasks. Create new files, labels and updates Versatile. Research old or unknown files utilizing the logs, Versatile and Subject Matter Experts. Develop and maintain inventory and file plan for the applicable program. File in EPA's central records center or high density file room. Assess and provide recommendations for maintaining records within the identified file room space. Provides technical expertise and support to staff on records management. Maintain current program files. Archive files and maintain Versatile (records inventory) data. Prepare files using Versatile records management software. Research FOIA requests and provides input to FOIA responder. Processing FOIA requests, scanning, copies, email, and etc. , and uploading to FOIA Online web system.
